Carra is a creative futurist and brand consultant shaping positive food culture and communication; the key to positive environmental, economic and social change.

Coming from the creative industries, Carra uses her design thinking and storytelling skills to communicate new concepts and practices that will help fix the future through food, such as showing an audience of almost 30k at London Design Festival how we can grow our own food indoors.

She has created/curated unique and powerful brand stories, thought-provoking design installations, immersive events and engaging environments for industry leaders including 100% Design, British Council, Formica Group, Gaggenau, The Flava People, Quorn Foods and The Food People.

Relatable and engaging, her projects have been voted ‘Most Popular’ by 25k industry professionals, and featured internationally in a variety of publications, including Wallpaper*ICONElle DecorationNew York TimesArchiproductsNew Design Magazine and Wired Magazine.

Through consultancy and workshops, Carra develops cross-sector conversations for collective change, working with entrepreneurs, brands and organisations to develop a conscious brand culture and ecosystem that can help fix the future through food.

Research & Publications

Carra undertakes focused research into ideas, trends, habits and behaviours which shape and communicate positive food culture.

An avid traveller, she records her findings through Field Notes on Food Culture, inspirational reports and newsletters combining writing, illustration and photography. Her latest report is on Lisbon.

Carra also designs Connect Through Cookery, a series of practical guides for food brands, and is currently compiling a series of essays exploring food culture connections.
